Xavi was showing us his Ring of Superpowers yesterday. It apparently could shoot a web out, while he sprayed us with spit from the “whoosh” sound he was making. It was quite exciting to see. heh.
Toph said something to the effect of, “You have real superpowers, you know.”
Xavi denied this.
Toph said, “You do. They are right here,” he pointed to Xavi’s head, “and right here,” and he pointed to Xavi’s chest, to his heart.
Xavi shrugged, shot more web from his Ring and ran off to play some more.
Later in the evening, Xavi announced that he had Superpowers in his head and his chest.
“But I don’t know how to make them come out,” he said somewhat sadly.
Toph assured him that we’d help him learn.
Now, how can my heart not melt when my husband begins teaching my son that his thinking power and his loving power are Superpowers?
