My sister in law introduced me to a blog I hadn’t seen before called Bent Objects. The creator of the site and the objects has a quirky sense of humor that appeals to me. I thought I’d share and let more people see the humor and creativity of it. 
Not much else going on right now…Toph’s got my computer so that he can work on his research paper somewhere other than home, so I can’t do any noveling. My washing machine is broken, so I can’t do any laundry. I did the dishes this morning. I could clean a room, I guess, or read a book. I’d rather take a nap though.
For some reason for the past month or so, Xavi has been crawling into bed with us in the middle of the night. He does it quietly, often not even waking me up, but the result is a night of crappy sleep for me as he snuggles up against me. On some level, I know he’s there, so I don’t roll and stretch like I normally would. This means that come morning, my back and hips are sore. (That could have something to do with why my back went out a couple of days ago, I guess. hrm.) Ah well. What can a Mom do? He obviously is looking for comfort in the middle of the night, or he’s cold or something. We’ve been dressing him in his warmer PJ’s hoping that would help…and it did, for one night. We’ve adjust the thermostat so that it kicks in at night if it gets below 68 degrees F. That seemed to help for one night. I just don’t know why he keeps waking up and searching me out!
So. A nap sounds really good to me.
