Ok, I wasn’t raised a Green Bay Packers fan. I was raised in a house full of Miami Dolphins fans, actually. I now live in a very Green Bay friendly family. My husband is a born and raised Packer fan – his mom is from Wisconsin. My brother’s wife is a Packer’s fan – again, family connections to Wisconsin. My sister is a Packers fan…or is it her husband? Crud, we were just talking about it earlier! My memories leak as if my brain was made out of Swiss cheese….cheese head, get it?
Ok, all bad jokes aside, perfect Packer food, according to my husband and his mom, is Brats, as in Bratwurst. Did I spell that right? I had never had a brat before marrying Toph. I have only eaten a couple since then, because frankly, I don’t like them that much. (I know, I can hear the shouts of ‘Sacrilege‘ from here.) But, in honor of the game tonight – Green Bay is playing the New York Giants at Lambeau field – I suggest every one should run out and get some brats. Grill ‘em up, put ‘em on buns and have at ‘em!
Just leave the burgers for me, please!

Yes, you spelled brats right! And the best way to eat them is slathered with sauerkraut and onions! MMMMMM!!!

ick. I don’t care for brats much either. Or football for that matter.

Heather, sauerkraut isn’t really allowed in my house. My husband has a strong aversion to it, although I love it! It makes hot dogs and chili GREAT!
Lanie, I agree on both counts. I do know football…I grew up in a house with two big fans and helped my brother with his card collection all the time. Still, Toph tries to instruct me at times. lol. It’s amusing. JUst because i don’t like to sit and watch it doesn’t mean I don’t understand most of the rules.
