I don’t have an actual reason beyond “Because being at my computer hurts.”  Truthfully, being at my computer just makes the hurt worse.  I actually hurt a lot of the time, in one way or another.  I’m working with my doctor to find the cause.  Arthritis and fibromyalgia seem to be forerunners at the moment, with testing for things like lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome, and various other things so we can rule them out.  We have to do that before a diagnosis of fibromyalgia can be seriously entertained.

So, I hope you’ll have patience with me as I post only sporadically.  I much prefer posting something every day, but that doesn’t seem very practical at the moment.

I’ve slacked off on both my posting/updating on my blog as well as dropping on other Entrecard sites.  I’m sorry for that, but my body hasn’t been cooperating with me lately.  I’m working on getting myself into a doctor so I can start feeling better.  Until then, posting and drops will probably be sparse.

Happy Spring, everyone (at least, in the Northern Hemisphere. ;) )

Almost two years ago, we moved to Florida. It wasn’t the first time I’d lived in the Sunshine State. In actuality, I’m a native Floridian. My parents did most of their growing up in Florida, and I spent my first 8 years or so here.

Still, when I moved back, I started having headaches. In the small town we lived in before, they were more frequent and often more painful. I saw a doctor and ruled out any odd disease or illness. It seems I’m stuck with Migraines which are aggravated by allergies and hormones. (Man, I just love hormones. *roll eyes*)

I bring up the subject because I had another one on Sunday which carried over into Monday. I’m so discouraged by how my house looks after two days of me being out of it. (Well, ok, three…I didn’t do any housework over the weekend!)

Seriously, I spent all of last week working on the house, making it nice and clean so that I wouldn’t have to stare at a yucky house on my anniversary weekend. Now, it’s gross again and I have to start all over again? What a bummer.

I finally got in to see a doctor today, for the cough that won’t go away. According to him, I have a sinus infection and bronchitis, aggravated by allergies. Go me.

The kids both seem to be doing better. X no longer has the huge dark rings under his eyes, and he’s not taking the unusual naps. He is still going to bed very easily at night, as if he’s exhausted, but I won’t argue about that! It sure makes bedtime easier this week, what with the time change. J has trouble at bedtime, between her cough and her conviction that it’s not late enough to be bedtime.

I was thinking a bit ago that it takes a certain amount of ego to write a blog about myself and my family and hope that anyone who doesn’t know us will want to read it. Truthfully, it blows my mind that anyone does read this, since we’re a pretty boring, drama free, family. Oh well. I’ll have to think of something interesting to share soon. Being sick doesn’t make for compelling writing!

Happy Monday, everyone!

(Get your mind outta the gutter. sheesh)

One husband, home from work today because he’s caught the plague.
Gone to one meeting where I learned I’ll soon be working my butt off to run a booth for my daughter’s school’s spring carnival. (Mental note: reread before publishing. Thank you very much.)
Two children now on antibiotics after seeing the doctor. Thankfully, no problems with asthma, ear infections, pneumonia or sinus infections; all of which I worried about.
Two trips to the grocery store = more comfort food for the sickies.
One mommy ready to drop.

Is it bedtime yet?
